Vik Parth
Vik Parth is an engineer and physicist who has spent 12+ years developing new augmented reality devices at MIT, Magic Leap and new transportation systems with SpaceX-Hyperloop. He believes that the future of building 3D will all be done in augmented reality. He completed his graduate work at the MIT Media Lab where he developed new human-computer interfaces and holographic displays. In his spare time, he continues to teach at MIT and The University of Texas at Austin.

Brian Corrieri
Brian Corrieri, based in Paris, has been developing for Apple platforms since 2016. He started working on AR-focused apps in 2020, leveraging the power of ARKit and RealityKit. Founder of Vision First Studio, he’s now specialized in building apps for Apple Vision Pro. His app Piano: Just Play Music was among the first 1000 apps available at launch on visionOS.

Ashley Jieun Lee
Ashley Lee is a machine learning engineer from MIT CSAIL who has developed core research tools around high-quality 3D point clouds, a flexible and scalable geometric representation, based on 2D images. She previously worked at Microsoft developing new developer tools for Android AOSP. Her research focus has been divided into two steps: generating point clouds for small shapes based on previous work on PointNet, and using the 3D point cloud for virtual or mixed reality-modeling. With such technology, it is possible to generate massive training data for rare edge cases that can be used for designing perception systems.

Pablo Vela
Pablo Vela is a computer vision engineer with over 10+ years of experience in human pose estimation, and room reconstruction, and Gaussian Splats. He focuses on cutting-edge problems in the fields of computer vision, robotics, and deep learning. Most recently he has built 3d room surface reconstruction pipelines using a combination of traditional MVS/SFM methods, neural network depth estimation, and neural implicit representations.

Jason Wong
Jason Wong is a full-stack engineer with over a decade of experience crafting scalable and user-centric applications, primarily in early-stage startups. With expertise spanning client-side, backend development, and performance optimization, Jason has a knack for quickly adapting to new markets and delivering innovative solutions. He has previously worked with organizations like Spatial, Datadog, and CoinFund. Jason earned his Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.

Kris Layng
Kris Layng is a spatial experience designer and creative director, fueled by a passion for building immersive worlds. He has spent 12+ years across content development, filmmaking, 3D real-time visualization, and set design. He holds an MFA from the prestigious NYU Tisch School of Arts and led award-winning pieces for Tribeca Film Festival, CANNES, and Netflix. He previously worked on Netflix's Maniac with director Cary Fukunaga and Black Rabbit with Jason Bateman and Jude Law.

Raul Uppot, Advisor
Raul N. Uppot, MD Associate Professor of Radiology, Harvard Medical School and Chief Radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also Executive Director and co-founder of the Mass General Brigham Medical Extended Reality Lab (MGB MXR Lab), one the first hospital-based medical extended reality lab exploring the application of mixed reality in healthcare. He has studied and published and presented nationally and internationally on the use of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality on medical training, patient education, and applications of this technology for clinical care. MGB MXR Lab collaborates with companies and has received multiple grants supporting lab research projects.

Pierre Zandrowicz, Advisor
Pierre Zandrowicz is an award-winning director and co-founder of Atlas V who has created groundbreaking works across multiple media formats. His pioneering VR film "I, Philip" garnered 5 awards and over 25 festival selections, while his immersive experience "The Dawn of Art" won "VR Experience of the Year" at the 2020 VR Awards. As a producer, his project "Gloomy Eyes" received the prestigious Cristal Award at Annecy International Animation Film Festival. His science fiction work "Mirror: The Signal" was selected for Venice Film Festival, and he made history with "In Search of Time," the first AI-generated film to premiere at Tribeca Festival (2023).

Ken Perlin, Advisor
Dr. Ken Perlin is an Academy-award winning computer graphics pioneer and Professor at New York University. His well known works include the development of Perlin Noise and computer-generated textures for the Walt Disney Motion Picture TRON. He directs the NYU Games For Learning Institute, and is a participating faculty member in the NYU Media and Games Network (MAGNET). He was also founding director of the Media Research Laboratory and director of the NYU Center for Advanced Technology.
